Casa Manca

Casa Manca is a small and charming accommodation located in the historic center of Locorotondo, whose original structure dates back to the late nineteenth century. The apartment, arranged over two floors, is an excellent example of typical local architecture, blending history and modernity in a symphony of beauty and simplicity.

The star vaults and "cummerse" in stone, true distinctive features that enchant visitors for the warmth and intimacy they exude, have been completely restored while maintaining the authenticity and original splendor. The local stone flooring pays tribute to the art of master craftsmen who are still capable today of recreating that timeless atmosphere that all guests fall in love with.

The renovation of our holiday home, carried out in 2023, was executed with high-quality materials and finishes that seamlessly integrated with the beauty and typicality of the place and in total respect for traditions. Every detail, from the solid wood doors and windows to the custom-made furniture, was crafted by skilled local carpenters, who meticulously attended to every detail.

The Casa Manca apartment is spread over two levels. Upon entering, you will find a cozy living room and kitchen with a small bathroom built inside the thick characteristic walls of these ancient structures. Upstairs, accessed by a charming staircase, there is the bedroom with the typical "cummerse" stone ceiling, and the bathroom with a shower cubicle, sink, toilet, and washing machine. The bedroom opens onto a balcony from which you can climb further to reach a splendid terrace. In this evocative private space, our guests can enjoy the splendid view of the entire Valle d'Itria while sipping a coffee or a cup of tea.

The holiday home, with its typicality and modern comforts (WiFi, air conditioning), in the heart of Locorotondo, is a refuge for the soul for those who want to enjoy moments of serenity, silence, and rest, perhaps even in the company of a good book, provided for guests, in the splendid setting of a typical local dwelling in the beautiful land of the trulli.
